Game seems like a lot of fun. I hope the full version doesn't end up remaining Steam exclusive. Would be cool to pick it up if it's not locked behind the mess that is almost 5 years of Valve knowingly causing harm to people by turning their (required) installer app into a health risk.

This game reminds me of a game I used to play back in the days - Zero Reflex. I am still hyped up for when the game releases but also kinda sad that it didn't last year how it was supposed to.

Its not. I think it happens on safari sometimes. We moved on from the way we were rending some things so in the future version ™️ this still not be the case (hopefully).

I'm on Chrome, but the game feels really good! It definitely has a lot of potential and was really fun to play through.

there seems to be a bug: when beating the level Triangle, it isn't letting me go futher, maybe it's just the end of the demo. but anyway it's still very fun and the 2nd weapon is kinda op ngl

How to unlock other weapon

Hi there! You can unlock another weapon and another movement ability by completing the two optional levels in the three-level cluster. Then you can equip them in the bottom-left button :)

the second weapon is ridiculously broken.

Let me explain

The first weapon

- punishes you for playing safe

- has a shit damage output unless you live dangerously

The second weapon

-rewards you for playing safe

- has a ridiculous damage output.

My suggestion - make the first weapon have a slight damage curve.

nerf the damage output on the second one

seriously, it wasn't much of a grind to do all of the bosses hitless.

for this demo, we wanted to try out what would the game look like if we added a weapon that rewards a safe gameplay style. Before, this weapon would do more damage the faster you were while picking it up (therefore, also rewarding danger), but we wanted to give iteration a shot.

being honest, I am not extremely happy with how that specific attack turned out, and we will definitely tune it for the final game

good game, but it becomes slower and lagyer when im in fullscreen and fast but hard to see in outscreen (or without fullscreen I should say?)

have you tried playing in low gfx mode? on the pause or start menu just untick the high gfx checkbox.

This design is so elegant! The concept is really well thought, and served with some amazing juiciness! It just provides incredible sensation.

I thought I would be forever stuck on the last level (triangle), but eventually achieved to beat it with the bonus attack. The game becomes quickly difficult, which I guess is by choice. And most of the time the challenge is actually really satisfying! However, it comes with some frustration too. Many time I had the impression that I failed not because I didn't reacted fast enough (although it did also happen), but because I took a bad decisions 1 or 2 seconds ago that brought me in a situation where I couldn't win. And this didn't feel really great. There are even some obstacles that I couldn't find how to reasonably avoid, other than with cheer luck (mostly when it involved aiming missiles, or too many "rockets" coming from the center with no readable order).

Still I enjoyed completing it, and playing with the two alternative controls! It's an intense  and unforgivable game, but that can quickly become addictive. I found displaying the remaining health on defeat is a clever choice, often giving a little hint that beating the level might be actually reachable. This demo was already quite fun, i'm curious to see the final game!

Last level sucks

I love that game but I wish there was like a phase shift ability or something that makes me continue in the zone because I love when the game speeds up but I have to tap because levels are design not to reach that high speed. I think you could add a phase shift ability that make the player phase through the red areas but the ability runs for like 1 second or something and need to cool down but also if you successfully phase through something, you get right away. I wish the game allow high skilled player to have combos and make the main character run on high speed with max damage.

Hey! Im not sure how much of the game you played but if you defeat all three of the bosses in the cluster around level 4 you should unlock an ability like that :)

I might have missed that :( because it gets so hard before reaching that level
